Bichu Kami Tachibana Yasuhiro the 1st generation

Special feature : Bichu (No) Kami Tachibana Yasuhiro was the founder of Kishu-Ishido School. It is said that he was an elder brother of Tameyasu. Yasuhiro’s real name was Tomita Gorozaemon, moved to Osaka and worked as the founder of Osaka-Ishido school. After becamed Bichu (No) Kami, he started to engrave the crest of an open chrysanthemum flower on the reverse side of the tang.
He was a founder of the Bizen Choji-midare Oosaka Ishido and also he made Doranba hamon who was very technical swords smith.
This sword is typical his Bizen Choji-midare Hamon. Over the Hamon, clear Utsuri appear.

Blade length : 47.1 cm or 18.5 inches.
Sori :0.7 cm or 0.28 inches.
Mekugi :  
Width at the hamachi : 2.61cm or 1.03 inches.
Kasane : 0.54 cm or 0.21 inches.
Shape : The blade is Nagamaki-naoshi style.
Jigane : Koitame-hada and Komokume-hada mixed up with thick Jinie and Chikei work. Wonderful texture appears on surface of the blade.
Hamon : Konoedeki Gunome-midare and double Hamon, there are a lot of Sunagashi, Kinsuji and Yo activities work.
Hamon looks like early mornig mist in the forest.
