Mumei (Unsho)

Special feature : Unsho was father of the Unji who worked
at Okayama prefecture Ugai province in Kamakura period.
Generally Hamon and JIgane are similar with Aoe.
Almost Unsho blades are Suguha Hamon and bright.
This blade is Osuriage Mumei and nice shape.
And also the Jigane is beautiful. There are Ustsuri.
The Hamon is Suguha with thick Nioikuchi.

Blade length : 70.2 cm or 27.63 inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.22 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.16 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.86 cm or 0.33 inches.
Shape : Wide and thick Katana with large Sori. Nice shape Katana.
There are Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi on both side.
Jitetsu : Ko Itame Hada grained with Jinie attach. It is clear Jigane.
Hamon : Nioi Deki, Gunome Midare and Choji Midare.
