His father Kanekuni and Nanki Shigekuni moved to Suruga province in order to study Soshu Den.
At early Keicho, they were retained by Shogun(General) Tokugawa Ieyasu and served to make swords.
At Genna 5th, He moved to Wakayama Marunouchi Kajibashi with Tokugawa Ieyori.
His subjects mainly Soshu style and Yamato style swords.
He learned Soshu style at Suruga province and his original main home is Yamato province.
His swords are mainly Yakizume style and long swords.
