Kashu Ju 2nd generation Kanewaka/Enpo 5 nen 8 gatsu Kichijitsu.(August 1677)

Special feature : Kashu Ju 2nd generation Kanewaka is called Matasuke.
He inherited the family name Tsujimura from his brother Kagehira.
He passed away in 1677 at age of 66. This blade was made in year of his death.
Exceptionally, this blade is nice. We guess that he made this blade by using all his strength.
The polish is also very nice. The beautiful Masame Hada appeared.
This is typlical kanewaka’s blade. We recommend this blade very much.

Blade length : 74.54 cm or 29,35 inches.
Sori : 1.21 cm or 0.48 inches.
Mekugi :  
Width at the hamachi : 3.04cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.11cm or 0.83inches.
Kasane : 0.85cm or 0.33 inches.
Shape The blade is rather wide and thick long sword with small sori and longer kissaki.
Hamon:Niedeki siguha from the Hamachi and then gunome midare
with deep nioikuchi and in Hamon, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work.
In Hamon, there are some gunome which is Tora no O(Tiger’s tail) called Taiger’s tail.
