Special feature : First generation Awataguchi Tadatuna was started at Osaka
and 2nd generation his son succeeded 2nd generation.
At Genroku era, he changed his name to Ikkannsi Tadatsuna.
He is very skillful swordsmith making Doranba and also gunome midair with thick nioikuchi.
He also made engraving on the sword. Swords collectors aspire Tadatsuna.
This sword is compose Ashinaga Cyoji midair with a lot of sunagashi, kinsuji which is one of the best quality blade.

Blade length : 74.9 cm or 29.48 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.43cm or 1.35 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.32cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.73cm or 0.28 inches.
Shape : It is wide 3.43cm and thick katana. It is deep sori and there is bo-hi engraved both
at the front and back. The kissaki is long end. It is refined shape nice katana.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with mixture of mokume hada. Jinie is finel attached.
Clear utsuri work is appearing and the jigane is very beautiful. There is rough parts at some points.
Hamon : The hamon is shimigokoro(blurry hamon) and is a square gunome midare.
It is nijyuba in the ha with much soft ha attached. Kinsuji work is active. Boshi is midarekomi(undulating), sharp tip and turned back.
