The signature is very clear and special feature of the Sa school.
Boshi is typical Sa school togari hamon.
It is very precious signature and good data.
The blade is active gunome midare with Kinsuji in Ha.
The signature is very precious for data of Sa school.
This Tanto cherished by his deceased Mr Kajyo Suzuki former NBTHK curator.

Blade length : 71.21 cm or 28.03 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.10 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.95 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Shape : Ubu Nakago(original tang). It is regular width and thickness but there is deep sori. It is elegant Tachi shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
There is smoky Shirake Utsuri appearing in the Ji.
Hamon : Konie Deki Suguha style with small Kogunome Midare hamon and Yo activities accompanied. Boshi is Hakikake style.

Who do you think made this sword?
1. Boshi is Yakizume style.
2. Utsuri is appearing.

5. The jigane is soft and Shinogiji is same itame with mixture of mokume.
