Special feature : Tairyu Sai Sokan was born at Shirakawa province near the river Abukumagawa.
At kaei 4th, he moved to Edo and lived Fukagawa area near Hakozaki area.
After tar he became a student of the Koyama Munetsugu and also worked for Shirakawa Domain.
His first stage his subjects are very similar with his Master Koyama Munetsugu.
But later on, his swords became gunome midare like Yosii Bizen and clear utsuri appear on the Ji.
This blade is wide(3,3 cm) very active and healthy gigantic sword with nice Jigane and Hamon.
He passed away at Meiji 16th Jan 23rd.

Blade length : 69.09 cm or 27.20 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.7 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.26 cm or 1.28 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.78 cm or 0.30 inches.
Shape : The blade is wide and thicl with deep sori and long kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautufl texture.
Hamon : Nioideki suguha from the hamachi and then gunome midare cyoji midare, jyuuka cyoji midare hamon. Boshi is midarekomi style.
