Special feature : This wakizashi was made by Yamato koku Shikkake Norinaga.
Of all the Yamato schools such as Shikkake, Taima, Hosho, Tegai, Senjyuin and others,
Shikkake school seems to have more gunome midare pieces.
The head of the Shikkake school is Shikkake Norinaga. The jigane had highly graded.

Blade length : 39.2cm or 15.43inches.
Sori : 1.3cm or 0.51inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.1cm or 1.22inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.28cm or 0.9inches.
Kasane : 0.73cm or 0.29inches.
Shape : It is wide and thick nice jigane.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie structure that starts from suguha at the hamachi
It is choji midare with soft nioiguchi.
Ashi is softly attached. Boushi is round end.

Hints.
1. The end of the tang is kuri-jiri.
2. It is in nioi structure and it is starting from suguha at the hamachi. It is unique round shape choji midare.
3. Boshi is round end.
