Shouji Chikuzen Daijyo Taikei Fuji Naotane (Kao)/Bunsei 13 nen Chushun(Spring1830)

Special feature :
Taikei Naotane was born at Dewa province and got the title of Chikuzen Daijyo. After he went to Edo and studied under the Suishinshi Masahide. His skill was excellent and outstrip his master Suishinshi Masahide. His Bizenden and soshu den are excellent work.
This sword is convined Sosyu den and Bizen den which is called Soden bizen. The sword is very active and fine high quality hamon.
According to the Kanzan sensei's sayagaki, the blade is Kasaku(fine work)

Blade length : 47.3cm or 18.62 inches.
Sori : 1.0cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.85 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.22 inches.
Shape : It is O-suriage mumei sword. There are bo-hi ata both side of the sword.
There is a fairly deep sori. Boushi is long ended. It is great shape wakizashi.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with mixture of mokume. Jinie is well attached.
There is chikei work with utsuri appearing.
Hamon : Konie structured with mixture of ko-choji midare. Ashi well attached
and there are some kinsuji works seen. Boushi is irregular line and brush up style.
