Tairyu-sai Munehiro(Sokan) Tsukuru kore/
Genji enen 6 gatsu hi (June 1864 or 1865)

Special feature : Tairyu-sai Munehiro(Sokan) was born at Hurukawa
province near the river Abukuma.
He moved to Edo Fukagawa Hakozaki city and studied from Koyama Munetsuggu.
Therefore his first stage of the blade is very close to his master.
After that he made swords as a purpose cut well sword.
So his most of the blade is Kogunome midare with a lot of Ashi.
Some swords has Utsuri appear.
He is good at also engraving.
This blade is very nice quality both Jigane and Hamon without kizu and flow.

Blade length : 24.8 cm or 9.76 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or 0.0 inches.
Mekugi: 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.21cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.40 cm or 0.15 inches.
Shape : The nakago is small and regular Tanto with Mitsumune style.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with masanagare and jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki Hitatsura with thick nioikuchi.
From Hamachi area, gunome midair and togari boshi and then Yakisage from the top of the
blade to Mune machi and in tobiyaki in the Ji.
