Special feature : Koyama Munetsugu was born at Shirakawa Kyowa 3rd year and called So-Bei and became a wordsmith of the Shirakawa Matsudaira daimyo family.
After that he moved to Edo and worked for Kuwana domein wordsmith.
He was well known sword maker in Edo period so he made a lot of swords during that days.
His reputation was very high because his skill is quite high and nothing rubbish sword left.
I have never seen worst one.
His subjects are overwhelmingly Gunome midair hamon and midarekomi boshi.
The sword are very similar with Cyounsai Tsunatoshi.
The differences of these swords are Tsunatoshi’ s gunome midare devided 2 and round boshi but Munetsugu is not devised and boshi is midarekomi style.
If the round shaped boshi, you should doubt the signature.
Munetsugu of brother Koyama Munehira, Munetoshi are almost same hamon and jigane.
He had to stop business making swords, by Haitorei.(decree banning the wearing of swords)
This sword was made at Tenpo era which iss the most powerful age for Munetsugu.
The saidanmei(Tameshigiri) is very precious.
