Appraisal Quiz : #242

Previous answer is
Echizen Kami Fujiwara Kunitsugu/Motte Nanbantetsu

Special feature : The sword is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) sword which was attributed as Komihara school.
The founder of the Mihara started from Kamakura period which is called komihara and continued to late Muromachi period called just only Mihara.
Komihara is influenced from Yamato school.
In Yamato sword school divided to Taima, Hosyo, Tegai, Sikkake and senjyuin.
I think these school sword makers were priest.
So they didn't mention the signature on the tang.
Komihara is also influenced such kind of custom.
By the way, Komihara was also influenced from Aoe school neighbor country.
Before my friend had a rusty sword which looks like typical Aoe, and after polished the blade, he submitted the blade to NBTHK shins.
The shins result was Komihara! but opposite side will be done.
This sword has passed more than 600 years precious sword.
