Uda Hirakuni.

Special feature : The founder of Uda school started from kamakura period Yamato Uda province and moved to Eccyu province by Kunimitsu.
At early Muromachi period, Uda Kunimune worked as a top wordsmith in Uda school and also Kunihusa, Kunitsugu and Hirakuni.
Uda Hirakuni was a student of the Kunimune.
The Jigane is blackish active Itame and ooitame had like sosyu style.
This blade is unusual Moroha zukuri and active Sosyu den style Niedeki gunome, noter with thick nioikuchi.
I think quite well jigane and hamon is kind of a famous painting.
We strongly recommend this sword.

Blade length : 50.0 cm or 19.68 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.28 cm or 1.29 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.33 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period, circa Kan-ei era. 17th century.
Shape : An imposing shinogi-zukuri katana, plenty of flesh in the right places.
Jitetsu : Jinie and chikei appear on the fine ko-itame.
There is a small kitaeware in the Ha around monouchi area but not so bad.
Hamon : Nie deck Gunome midair and Kogunome midair mixed with jinie attach active deep nioikuchi and in Ha, many ash, sunagashi and also kunsuji scatter.
