This blade is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works of Toshu Ju Hidehiro.
Habaki: Double gold-foiled habaki.
Blade Length: 81.1 cm (31.93 in).
Curvature: 0.4 cm (0.16 in).
Mekugi Hole: 2.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 2.92 cm (1.15 in).
Width at Yokote: 1.99 cm (0.78 in).

Era: Edo period, around the Bunkyu era (1861–1864).
Shape: An exceptionally long katana with thick kasane and an elongated boshi.
Jigane: Well-forged steel with a beautiful and refined surface.
Hamon: Ko-nie-deki suguha. The boshi returns in a rounded form.

Features: Toshu Ju Hidehiro was a swordsmith of the Tosa domain during the closing years of the Edo period and a disciple of Sa Yukihide. Like his master, he produced robust blades of considerable length. This is a magnificent long sword with an imposing appearance, featuring exceptionally well-forged jigane.
