(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku).
This work is ranked as Jyo Saku for Mumei (Araki Kiyoshige).
Habaki: silver single
Blade length : 27.5 cm or 10.82 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.59 cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Moden age.(April 1982)
Shape : Wide and thick Tanto.
Jitetsu : Itame woks very well, and covered in Jinie.
Hamon : Nie based, Gunome midare. There are Utsuri looks like a Mizukake Utsuri around Habaki.
There are Sunagashi and Kinsuji.

Special feature : Masataka is a swordsmith who live in Oume city, Tokyo.
And his real name is Takano Ken-ichi, and his use signature “Takano Masataka”.
He started to study under Sakai Ikkansai Shigemasa in 1942.
He also study under the polisher Mr.Hirashima.
He studied under Sakai Ikkansai Shigemasa again in 1961.
Masataka made very nice Bizenden blades as well as Sakai Ikkansai Shigemasa.
And he got the Nyusen prize at 4th and 5th and 6th Shinsaku Meito-Ten exhibition.
