Habaki: Shakudo single habaki.
Blade Length: 70.9 cm (27.91 in).
Curvature: 2.12 cm (0.83 in).
Mekugi Hole: 1.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.25 cm (1.28 in).
Width at Yokote: 2.24 cm (0.88 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.66 cm (0.26 in).
Sword Weight: 720 g.
Era: Late Muromachi period.
Shape: Wide mihaba with thick kasane and moderate curvature, featuring a long kissaki, forming a well-proportioned sword.
Jigane: Itame hada with flowing masame, faint utsuri appears, mixed with some large hada.
Hamon: Nie-deki, with choji-midare mixed with gunome-midare, containing ashi, and the boshi is midare-komi.

Features: Although signed Bishu Osafune Yasuhiro, this smith is not recorded in major swordsmith references.
The visible hada with utsuri and the choji-midare in nioi-deki suggest the possibility of an unrecorded smith; however, from the manner of the signature, it cannot be readily judged as genuine, and therefore is treated as no guarantee.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Iron tate-maru shaped tsuba with a high-relief design of tiger and bamboo, decorated with gold iro-e.
Fuchikashira: Shibuichi base with a carved design of chrysanthemum and flowing water in silver.
Saya (Scabbard): Vermilion lacquered saya and black roiro lacquer saya partially covered with same.
Menuki: Shakudo base with high-relief figures, decorated with gold iro-e.
