This work is ranked as Jyo Saku for Hizen no Kuni Tadayoshi (Gimei).
Habaki: Double-layer gold foil habaki.
Blade Length: 69.2 cm (27.24 in).
Curvature: 2.1 cm (0.83 in).
Mekugi Hole: 1.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.17 cm (1.25 in).
Width at Yokote: 2.13 cm (0.84 in).
Thickness (Kasane): 0.8 cm (0.31 in).
Sword Weight: 705 g.
Shape: Wide mihaba with slightly thick kasane and deep curvature.
The kissaki is also well-proportioned and elegant.
Jigane: Well-forged itame hada with a darkish tone, forming refined jigane.
Hamon: Nie-deki with a deep nioiguchi, showing very good workmanship.
The boshi turns back in a rounded manner.

Features: This sword was made in imitation of the first generation, but unfortunately I judge the signature to be gimei (false signature).

Aoi Art’s Comment: This work first impresses with its excellent shape and fine polish.
The hamon is deeply formed with a strong nioiguchi, making it a splendid piece.
It is a very skillfully made sword crafted in the style of the first generation Tadayoshi.
