Special feature : Born around 1576 in Yamato province, Kunimichi
the First learned under Iga (No) Kami Kinmichi and Horikawa Kunihiro.
It is thought that Kunimichi was designated Dewa Daijo in 1614 to 1615.
His latest work was 1657. Most of his swords show fascinating hamon with strong Nie and Nioi.
Dewa Daijyo Fujiwara Kunimichi was a top ranking student of the Kunihiro.
He made a lot of swords during his long life.
He was making swords from Keicyo era to Kanbun era for the first stage,
he named Kunimichi and got the tytle of Dewa Daijyo.
Seki school Kanemichi was a master of the Kunimichi, kanemichi, Masatoshi and so on.

Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane :Ko-itame hada well grained with jinie attach and chikei work
which is called konuka hada beautiful Jigane,
Hamon :Konie deki with thick nioikuchi and soft Habuchi and round boshi with thick nioikuchi.
