It is said that Naruie was a descendant of Kagehide in middle Kamakura period, or Naruie was a son of Morimitsu.
Anyway, Naruie was a very skillful swordsmith in Kozori school.

Sori :0.9 cm or 0.354 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.98 cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.27 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.657cm or 0.259 inches.
Shape : The blade is oo suriage mumei(cut shortened) wide
and thick with bo-hi on both sides of the blade
with suitable sori and long kissaki.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach
and Chirimen style jigane and Utsuru appear on the Ji.
Hamon :konie deki suguha with small ashi and Nezumi ashi.
Boshi:Notare and small round shape.
