Special feature: Kyo Tanba Yoshimichi is the founder of a Sudare-Ha(Ba).
First He made active Sosyu style hamon and later on He made
Sudareba with sosyu style active hamon.
from 2nd generation to later generations made perfect Sudareba hamon.
Especially 4th generation was very skillful for Sudareba.
From second generation this Kyoto Tanba school was permittet
to engrave Kiku family crest on the Nakago(tanng) .

Blade length : 72.2cm or 28.42 inches.
Sori :0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.02cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.24cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.58cm or 0.22 inches.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with suitaable sori
and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach
beautiful Konuka hada .
Hamon :Niedeki gunomemidare with thick nioikuchi and soft Habuchi
The Hamon looks summer clouds like Thundercloud.
In Hamon, long Kinsuji work and sunagashi.
