with the founder ‘Kaneuji’, who was one of 10 students
of Masamune. They moved to Naoe from Sizu, Mino province.
The blade remaining signature on stem are very rare and most
of them became Mumei by O-suriage.

Blade length : 71.05 cm or inches.
Sori : 1.45 cm or inches.
Mekugi :1
Width at the hamachi : 2.95 cm or 28.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Shape : Relatively narrow, thick blade with large Sori.
Jitetsu :Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
There are some Mokume Hada. There are Chikei.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Choji base, Gunome Midare with long Ashi.
The Hamon is brilliant. The Kioikuchi is thick.
In Ha, there are Kinsuji and Sunagashi.
Boshi is small round Hakikake shape.
