Special feature: It has been said that Norishige was a student of the Masamune.
But it is commonly called he was a student of Shintogo Kunimitsu at present.
Norishige and Soshu Masamune's blades are alike.
But the Norishige's Jigane has higher varieties Nie.
The texture is Hadadatsu. It is a typical Matsukawa Hada.
The Chikei is wide and many. That is welll said as Norishige.
That's simply overwhelming.

Width at the hamachi : 2.29 cm or 0.90 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.11 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Shape : Suriage, Machiokuri Katana. But the signature remain completely.
Jigane : Mokume Hada and Itame Hada grained with Jinie attach.
The characteristic Chirimen Hada. There are Chikei and Utsuri.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha base, There are many Ashi and Yo.
Boshi is Notare style.
