Special feature:he Enju School in Higo province is famous as a supplier of sword for the Kikuchi family that was a loyal retainer of a divided Emperor family in the Namboku-cho period. The founder of Enju School Kunimura was a pupil of Rai Kunitoshi in Yamashiro province. The School had prospered following the Kikuchi family and came to an end in the Age of Provincial Wars. The representative swordsmits were Kunimura, Kuniyoshi, Kuniyasu and Kuninobu.
The workmanship of this katana is close to Rai School.

Sori : 2.4cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.76cm or 1.08 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.85 cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0.57cm or 0.224 inches.
Era : Nanbokucyo period.1380.
Shape : The blade is suriage but the whole signature is mentioned,
The blade is regular thickness and width
with deep sori nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada and mokume hada well grained
with jinie attach and upper part of the blade is itame hada
with blackish visible to see the texture.
On the Ji, utsuri appear.
Shinogi ji:Koitame hada and komokume hada mixed nice excellent jigane.
Hamon :konie deki small gunome midare and upper part from Monouchi
area, rather thick nioikuchi gunome midare.
Boshi is active notare midarekomi style.
