Appraisal Quiz : #444

Previous answer is
Mumei(Yoshikane)

Special feature: According to the Fujishiro book, Kobizen
Yoshikane was working at Heian period Eisyo era.
Generally Kobizen school was working at Heian era to early
Kamakura period. It is very difficult point out Heian period and
Kamakura period, I think generally the sori is Hamachi area and
Hamon is facedown style, the blade must be Heian period.
This sword is almost Ubu style Tachi which consist of Koshizori
style and facedown shape.
Jigane is same as Hiraji and connected together whch is Muku gitae
The sword was made without Shingane inside of the jigane.
On the shinogi ji and hiraji both are nice fantastic Jigane without Kizu
and flow. Hamon is komidare cyoji midare hamon, with ashi, sunagashi
and also kinsuji work. the Hamon is bright
and also Boshi is healthy yakizume style.
National human treasure Honami Nissyu sensei’s sayagaki.
This sword is reported as Daimyo Ikeda family’s treasure.
