Special feature : Shigezane is said to be a younger brother or student of Motoshige.
He has later on become a student of Sadamune’s student.
His piece is Sugu-Sakaashi Hamon.
Those are similar to Motoshige and Chikakage pieces.
Especially Bizen Nagamitsu, Kagemitsu and Chikakage made like this kind
of Hamon which is called sansaku boshi.
The blade is typical nice sansaku bo-shi and nice Midare utsuri appear.

Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.925 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.21 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Shape : Osuriage Mumei, Okissaki Katana.
Jigane :Ko- Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
It is clrear and mellifluous Jigane.
Hamon : Sugugha base with many Ashi. Habuchi is soft.
The Ha is bright. Boshi is Yakizume style.
