Masakiyo (Mondo sho Fujiwara Masakiyo)

Special feature : Mondo sho Fujiwara Masakiyo was born in 1760 at Satsuma province. His real name is Miyahara Kiyouemon.
He studied under Masafusa. He made the blade which is deep Nie Gunome Midare Hamon. It looks like Soshu-Den. 
His primary sword's signature is Kiyomitsu and change his name from Kiyomitsu to Masakiyo. He passed away in 1730 at age of 61.
There are many sword smiths in Satsuma province.
The Mondo sho Masakiyo is rated highest among in the Soshu-Den blades. Ippei Yasuyo is also famous sword smith. But his blade is calm.
This blade is elegant and masterpiece.

Jigane:Koitame had and mokume had mixed with jinie and chikei work
wonderful hizen texture which is called Konuka hada.
Hamon:Niedeki suguha based and noter mixed with soft feeling Nie ash work.
