This blade is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works of Bizen no Kuni Osafune ju Yokoyama Sukekane.
Habaki: Single-layer gold-covered habaki.
Blade Length: 72.4 cm (28.50 in).
Curvature: 1.5 cm (0.59 in).
Mekugi Hole: 1.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.30 cm (1.30 in).
Width at Yokote: 2.10 cm (0.83 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.72 cm (0.28 in).
Sword Weight: 810 g.
Era: Edo period, Ansei 2 (1855).
Shape: A robust blade with substantial mihaba, slightly deep curvature, and an elongated kissaki.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada producing a beautiful steel surface.
Hamon: Suguha beginning at the hamachi, transitioning into gunome-midare, executed in nioi-deki.
The boshi returns in a small rounded form (komaru).

Features: Most works by Bizen no Kuni Osafune ju Yokoyama Sukekane are somewhat shorter in length, but this example is notably long and possesses considerable weight.
It is a healthy blade in excellent condition and is highly recommended.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Round iron tsuba carved with decorative motifs and highlighted with gold iroe.
Menuki: Kenmaki-ryu (dragon entwined around a sword) design with gold iroe.
Fuchikashira: Decorated with the Yotsuwari-bishi family crest in gold.
Kogai: Shakudo nanako ground carved with a family crest.
Saya (Scabbard): Vermilion nashiji-style saya decorated with the Yotsuwari-bishi family crest.
