Features: This is a rare small yari featuring an unusual shape: the shinogi is removed on the lower half, while the mune becomes wider toward the upper half, where a tempered edge is applied. Shinshinto Sanjo Munekane was a group of swordsmiths active in the late Edo period, known for producing many works with distinctive and unconventional forms.
