Shape: Wide-bodied blade with deep curvature and a large Kissaki.
Jigane: Fine Koitame-hada well forged with dark Chikei appearing, forming an excellent steel texture.
Hamon: Ko-nie-deki, with notare mixed with suguha, and upon close inspection, active sunagashi and kinsuji can be seen vigorously working.

Features: Miyairi Kozaemon Yukihira was born in Nagano Prefecture in 1957 and is the son of Miyairi Yukihira.
He inherited the name Miyairi Kozaemon from his father.
He became Mukansa in 2000.
Miyairi Kozaemon Yukihira particularly devoted himself to Soshu-den works modeled after Shizu Kaneuji, producing highly accomplished works.
This blade was made in January 2000.
