Features: The Tegai school is a group of swordsmiths said to have served at Todai-ji Temple, with Kanenaga of the late Kamakura period (1185–1333) as its founder.
At that time in Nara, powerful temples were armed, and the Yamato smiths such as Hoshō, Taima, Shikkake, Tegai, and Senjuin each served their respective temples.
In this work, the nioiguchi is formed somewhat deeply, and its flowing style is said to have been influenced by the Taima school.

From Aoi-Art: The registration certificate issued in 1951 (Showa 26) states: “Den Aoe – Arima family heirloom Origami by Mitsutada. Although the origami papers themselves appear to have been lost and the details are therefore unknown, it is nevertheless a very intriguing item.
