We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This piece is ranked as Jyo Saku.

Habaki: single copper habaki.

Shape: Katana with deep curvature and Ubu nakago.
Jigane: Koitame hada with intense grain patterns with whitish Utsuri. Some Kitae-ware(cracks) can be seen.
Hamon: Ko-nie with suguha hamon with much nie making Sunagashi and Ko-ashi.

Features: This piece dates to the Muromachi period and, although it shows some signs of wear, its overall form and hamon clearly convey an antique character.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: circular iron tsuba carved with a hollyhock leaves with openwork.
Fuchikashira: Brass base carved with with a winter landscape motif depicts snow protection and plovers on a brass base.
Menuki: a gourd and a cauldron motif.
