Features:
Minamoto Yoshimune was a swordsmith from Aichi Prefecture and the elder brother of Takahashi Sadatsugu. He studied under Osafune Sukesada and Enju Kunitsugu, and was active as a Rikugun Jumei Tosho (Army-appointed swordsmith).

The sword tassel is red, which indicates that it was owned by a commissioned officer of field grade rank in the Imperial Japanese Army. Both the blade and the koshirae are in exceptionally fine condition, making this a rare and valuable work.
