This work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Mumei (Omiya).
Habaki: Double-layered silver-covered habaki

Shape: This is a naginata-naoshi style blade, suriage with a kaku-oshi nakago.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada is well-forged with utsuri appearing.
There is also a well-done ubagane (metal inlay) near the kissaki area.
Hamon: Nioi-deki with gunome-midare, featuring sunagashi and working kinsuji.
Features: It is believed that this was once a deeply curved and long naginata.
It evokes the image of how nobles fought in those times.
There are some small flaws, but this sword belongs to the Bizen school that began around 1299 (Kamakura period).
Although the Omiya school, which started in the Kamakura period, shows some aging, this blade still retains noteworthy qualities.
Currently, it has been awarded the Tokubetsu Hozon Token designation.
Koshirae:
Tsuba: Circular iron tsuba with a carved dragon motif, partially decorated with gold inlay.
Inscribed "Kaneya".
Fuchikashira: Fuchi is made of silver, kashira is wood.
Saya (Scabbard): Black gloss lacquered saya.
Menuki: High-relief carving of dragons with gold iroe (possibly modern).
