(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Nosyu Hironaga belongs to Saijyo saku(Top)ranking.

The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Blade length : 39.6 cm or 15.6 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.94 cm or 0.37 inches.
Era : Muromachi period Bunmei era.
Shape : THe blade is long Kerakubi and also long sized Yari
Jitetsu :Komokume hada and mokume hada mixed with jinie attach and
fantastic utsuri appear well grained beautiful texture.
There are some straight grain close to the edge section.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha hamon with thick nioikuchi middle suguha.

Special feature : Hironaga was working at Mino province Bunmei era.
generally speaking Mino sword makers are not well reputation
but around Bunmei era, not only Bizen sword
but also many school including Mino
province, the Jigane is quite well beautiful texture.

From Aoi Bijyutsu:The blade was made around Muromachi jidai Bunmei
era fantastic Jigane and Hamon like Taima school Yamato province.
Probably some craftman who were making sword
at Yamato province and moved to Mino and made like Yamato Taima style sword.
The jigane is excellent itame and mokume mixed with clear Utsuri.
Hamon is wonderful thick nioikuchi suguha hamon.
We strongly recommend this wonderful yari
and also polished perfectly by high ranking polisher.

Historical background: Ounin Ran(inland revolution) was end which started from Ounin Gannen and ended Bunmei 9 year November 20th.
