This sword Tsunemitsu belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.

The blade is polished.
Habaki :gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length :49.8cm or 19.6 inches.
Sori 1.3 cm or 0.51inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the Hamachi : 3.18cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.31 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.74cm or 0.3inches.
Era : Edo period Genroku 1st.(1868)
Shape : The Motohaba and sakihaba are wide and thock with suitable sori and longer kissaki nice looking healthy blade.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach and clear Utsuri appear on the Ji.
Hamon :Konie deki cyoji midare ans in Ha, small ashi and yo work. Boshi is notare yakizume style.

Special feature :He was born at Kosyu Gamo(Oumi province) and studied Ichimonji style sword with his brother Mitsuhira.
They moved to Edo and studied from Ishido Korekazu or other sword makers.
Their Ichimonji had high reputation.
First he called Heki Ichinojyo and after that Saburozaemon.
Later he became a priest Bonz named Ippo and Chikyu Nyudo at Genroku first year.
So this sword was made at his later year and also the blade was used by Nanbantetsu western steal.
Before Tsunemitsu was reported that he was older brother of Mitsuhira but recent reserch
is Mitsuhira’s yonger brother.
Anyway they are quite well known Ichimonji style sword makers and high reputation in
Edo period, Famous Sakamoto Ryoma loved Tsunemitsu cyoji midare hamon.
This wakizashi is wide and thick healthy blade without Kizu and flow.
