Special feature: Kanemichi is the second son of Kyoto Yoshimichi 2nd
generation, also known as Yoshibe or Naomichi, died in Kanbun 12 at the age of 70. Signatures of 1st and 2nd are very similar, however there are some differences. 1st engraved his signature starting from right side and his 6th point of the kanji Kami”守” is on the lower side. Tango Kami Fujiwara Kanemichi was allowed to use the Kikumon(Chrysanthemum crest) because he comes from Kyo-Tamba school, so this work has also the Kikumon and the word Ichi”1” on the back, and his signature on the front.

Tsuba: Signature of Koshu Hikone Ju Sotoshi Soten is engraved. The rim is covered by silver. Fighting people are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: On Shakudo-nanako plate, people and sea and birds are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Black roiro Saya.
Menuki: On Shakudo plate, iron line is engraved and colored by gold color.

Fujiwara Kanemichi. The length is enough and the blade is thick and has deeper Sori and longer Kissaki. Sunagashi and Kinsuji work in Hachu well, Hamon is Futaeba and great.
