This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
habaki:silver single habaki.
Blade length : 31.3 cm or 12.32 inches.
Sori :0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.93 cm or 1.154inches.
Kasane : 0.55 cm or 0.216inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period Eisho era.1504.
Shape : This Tanto is elegant shape uchizori style.
On the ji, Kenmaki ryu is engraved.
Jigane :Itame hada and mokume hada mized
with jinie attach and small chikei work
visible to see the texture and also shirake utsuri appear.
Hamon :Konie deki suguha hamon and round shape Boshi.

Special feature:Nami Hira Hisanobu is not well known swordsmith
but the Jigane is beautiful texture.
On the Ji, Kenmaki Ryu is engraved but the Horimono looks perished a lot.
but we can remind the beginning of the first stage which was made.

Koshirae :
Saya :black roiro saya.
Tsuba :On the brass, some flower and leaves are engraved
with gold color. Hamidashi tsuba.
Menuki : On the copper plate, flowers and leaves are engraved
with gold color.
Fuchikashira: On the shakudo nanako plate, plants
and a horse jumping around are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka; On the iron plate, ume flowers are engraved with gold color.
Kogai:On the iron plate, ume flowers are engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: Naminohira Hisanobu is not so famous swordsmith
but this Tanto is quite well grained nice texture. and engraved nice Kenmaki ryu.
The engraving is now perished a lot but remind us the age of made.
The Jigane is well grained which is typical Naminohira texture.
Koshirae is also nice quality.
