This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: copper double habaki.
Shape(Sugata):The blade is wide and thick
with Bo-Hi is engraved on both sides of the bled.
The blade has a small sakizori style Sunnobi Tanto.
Blade length(nagasa) : 33.2 cm or 13.07 inches.
Sori:0.4 cm or 0.15 inches.
Mekugi:  1
Width at the hamachi: 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Kasane :0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
weight: 270g.
Era : Late Muromachi period Eiroku era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick
with small sori and longer Sunnobi Tanto.
Kitae :Itame hada and mokume hada mixed
with jinie attached beautiful texture.
Hamon :Nie deki Gunome midare with deep nioikuchi round shape.
Bo-shi is round shape yakisage.

Special feature: At Mino province, a lot of famous sword makers
were working like Kanemoto, Kanesada Kanefusa and Kaneaki.
But after the war end, peaceful Edo period,
many sword makers have to abolish his making swords
and move to order places for working places.
This sword is typical Late Muromachi sword wide
and thick with small sori.
This blade is nice active kamon so I recommend this sword for you.

Koshirae :
Saya :dark brown colored saya, black belts are painted
by Urushi and between the urushi band.
shark skin is wrapped with gold inside of shark skin.
Menuki : bout 3.1cm sakudo plate, wrapped gold color
around the plate and small hormone
which is mentioned Eirku Tuhou (coin) is engraved with gold color.

inside of the plate some plant and other are engraved.
Kozuka: On the shakudo plate, family crests are engraved
with gold color.

From Aoi Art: Mino province many famous sword
makers are produced like Kanemoto, Kanesada,
Hachiya Kanesada, Kanefusa and Kanenori and so on.
The end of Muromachi period, a lot of sword makers
were working and received Samurai’s demand.
But war was end and becomes peaceful Edo era.
So many sword makers moved to other places in order to maintain their life.
This Koshire is quite nice probably Daimyo’s
Koshirae or high ranking samurai.
