Special feature: Sesshu Ju Fujiwara Kunisada(the 1st generation) is the father of Inoue Shinkai. Shinkai helped him and often made swords instead of him at the age of around 20, so it is said that Kunisada made the basis of Shinkai swords. This work was made at the age of 37, so he had to be the most skillful and powerful at that time. Besides, it is very rare to see his Mei “Sesshu Ju Fujiwara Kunisada”.

From Aoi Art: This work is made by “Oya Kunisada”(Izumi Kami Kunisada 1st). Especially, Jigane is really beautiful and it has to be his masterpiece. Mei became a little bit unclear, but it is readable. The blade is thick and broad enough with deep Sori and longer Kissaki: very well-shaped. We truly recommend this elegant piece of art to you.
