Shape:A well-balanced piece with a sturdy blade width, shallow curvature, and extended kissaki, demonstrating excellent proportions.
Jigane (Steel):Fine itame-hada (wood-grain pattern) that is well-forged, with dark chikei appearing prominently.
Hamon (Temper Line):Vividly defined nie-based temper line with deep nioiguchi and bright, sharp ashi. The boshi features a double edge (futatsu-ba) with a deep nioiguchi that rounds back elegantly.
Features: This piece is listed as No. 120 on page 150 of the Kotetsu Taikan. According to the publication, blades dated Kanbun 7th Year are extremely rare and valuable as historical artifacts.

Kotetsu's finest works are characterized by bright, sharp jigane. This wakizashi exemplifies this with its vibrant jigane, featuring kinsuji and sunagashi.
