This sword belongs to Jyo-Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : silver single habaki.
Blade length: 39.0 cm or 15.35 inches.
Sori :0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi:  2
Width at the hamachi: 2.73cm or 15.35 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.05cm or 0.80 inches.
The weight of the sword 355 grams.
Era: Middle of Muromachi period.
Shape : O-Suriage Mumei sword. Dragon with a sword(Kenmaki Ryu) is engraved on both side. Very thick and nice sword.
Jigane : Ko-itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached and Hadame is visible.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha with Notare, Boshi is round shape Yakizume style.

Special feature: NBTHK judged the sword as Sanjo Yoshinori in 52years
ago, but they judged the sword as Shimohara these days.
In our opinion, the Jigane is different at all from Sanjo
Yoshinori so we think Shimohara is the correct judgment.
The carving is very nice and rare, we recommend this sword.

Kozuka: Shibuichi plate, Dragon in the ocean is engraved. (There is a crack on backside )
