Era: Around the Kanei era, the early Edo period.
Shape: Naginata Naoshi style Wakizashi.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. It is easy to see the texture.
Hamon: Gunome Midare with may Ashi. The dorder between Hamon and Jigane is vague and unclear. Boshi is shaped rounded.
Special feature: The boundary between Hamon and Jigane is ambiguous, and it is said that and unclear swords is cut well.
NBTHK judged the blade as Kanenori. Kanenori was a swordsmith of Echizen province. He was active in Kanei era.
From Aoi Art: This Wakizashi is Naginata Naoshi shape, and made around the early Edo period. We also agree with the appraisal result of Kanenori. The blade is solid and has the nice gold foiled double Habaki. We recommend this Wakizashi.
