This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished by high rank polisher.
Habaki :Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 55.1cm or 21.7 inches.
Sori :1.5cm or 0.6 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.0 cm or 1.18inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.03 cm or 0.8inches.
Kasane : 0.6cm or 0.23inches.
The weight of the sword 535 grams.
Era : Edo period around Enpo era
Shape : regular width and thickness, deep Sori and long Kissaki.
Jigane : koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attached much. Beautifull Jigane
Hamon :Konie-deki, From Hamachi, Suguha then deep Nioikuchi and round Gunome-midare. Boshi is Hakikake
Special feature: Oumi no kami Hisamichi is named Horitarou-bee
and was born in Kanei 3rd year（1626） at Eshu Noshu ward.
He was a student of secede generation Iganokami Kinmichi
and was chosen as one of five great sword smith of that time.
He first received the chair of Oumi Daijyo at Kanbun 1st year
and have become Oumi kami. There are chrysanthemum emblem at the top part of the signature.
To be more specific, the emblem on this katana tang called Edakiku emblem.
Edakiku is a chrythanthemum with leaves and branches.
It is well known that Hisamichi uses this emblem.
Tsuba : Round iron Tsuba. Ajiro pattern and grasses are engraved.
Fuchikashira: Syakudo plate. Dragons are engraved.
Saya: Black Aogai powder spreaded Saya .
Menuki : Brass plate. Tokko and sword are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako plate. Flowers are engraved with gold color.
Kogai: Copper plate. Flowers are engraved with gold color.
