shinshinto:Cyujyo saku;Uzen province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold wrapped single habaki.
Blade length : 44.85 cm or 17.66 inches.
Sori : 0.6cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi :2.33 cm or 0.92 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.77 cm or 0.7 inches.
Kasane : 0.45 cm or 0.177 inches.
Era : Late Edo period Bunsei era. 1822
Shape : The blade is slender with small sori.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach nice clean Muji style.
Shinogi ji:Koitame hada and small masame mixed.
Hamon :Niedeki suguha from the Hamachi and then wavy notare hamon
and make circle above wavy temper line.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature:Akama Tsunanobu was born in Yonezawa province,
present yamagata pref. He learned under Kato Tsunahide.
The Kato clan was one of the most prosperous School
in Shin-to period at Edo.
Tsunahide and Tsinanobu were very good at Toran-ba. Akama
Tsunanobu is quite well known at Yonezawa province.

Koshirae : Tachikoshirae for imperial great memorial sword.
The condition is perfect without Kizu and flow.

From Aoi -Art:From Meiji period to Syowa before the war time,
When the coronation was happened, many high ranking royal family and
others are wearing this kind of sword with Tachi mounting.
Generally inside of the Tachi koshirae used Gassan Sadakazu,
Sadakaytsu or other sword makers. but this Tanchi was used old
Akama Tsunanobu which is quite rare.
