This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver and gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 40.45 cm or 15.92 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi: 2.86 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.13 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era: Edo period around Houei era.
Shape: Wide and thick Wakizashi.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with thick Nioikuchi.
Boshi is a round shape.

Special feature: Kozuke Daijo Fujiwara Sukesada got the title of Daijyo at Kanbun 4th. He spent a long life until 89 years of age.
Unfortunately, the signature is not reliable so we don’t guarantee the signature.
The signature is very cloth of genuine signature.
The sword itself good Jigane so the sword looks like Tsuguhiro Echizen province.
Even if the blade is Gimei, the sword is good Jigane, and hope to enjoy it.

Koshirae :
Saya: Black Saya with Aogai Chirashi and pattern.
Tsuba: Round shape iron Sukashi Tsuba.
Menuki: Shakudo, flowers are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, a horse is engraved with gold color.
Kurikata: Wave and rabbit are engraved with gold color.
Kojiri: Shibuichi plate.

From Aoi Art: At a glance, the signature looks good.
But we have doubts about it. From the works, the blade was made around Edo period. This is different from Kozuke Daijo Sukesada.
The Koshirae is nice.
