The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length: 58.8cm or 23.15inches.
Sori: 1.212cm or 0.477inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.13cm or 1.226inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.28cm or 0.898inches.
Kasane: 0.67cm or 0.264 inches.
The weight of the sword: 605 grams.
Era: Edo period Kanbun era
Shape: The blade is wide and thick with suitable sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane: Itame hada and Mokube hada mixed with active item hada.
Hamon: Niedeki notate hamon with thick nioikuchi, double hamon, kinsuji and sunagashi
work.

Special feature: Yamato (No) Kami Yasusada was a deshi(student) of the
First generation Yasutsugu of Echizen province. The First Shogun
Tokugawa Ieyasu permitted Yasutsugu the First using hollyhock
crest and the character Yasu.
Yasusada mainly forged sword at Edo and their collaboration survives with his master
Yasutsugu. Yasusada is in the first year of the Meireki (1655)
He was invited by the Date clan and made a Dedication sword in Oshu Sendai.
