The blade was polished.
Blade length : 35.6 cm or 14.01inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.60 cm or 1.02 inches.
Kasane : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : Naginata style Wakizashi. The blade is wide and thick.
Mitsu-Mune style.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha with thick Nioikuchi.
Boshi is around shape.

Special feature : Yamashiro Daijo Fujiwara Kunitsugu is a son
of the Yamato Daijyo Masanori who is called Yamada Shichirobei.
He passed away in Kanei 6 year at age of 65.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Iron Tsuba, bamboo and tiger are engraved.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, spider’s thread is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Egg shell Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, Kabuto is engraved with gold color.
