From Aoi Art: After wars finished and become Edo period, the demand for swords become lower so a lot of swordsmiths moved to Edo, where was the Japanese capital and has a huge population. We think Tsunemitsu is one of them. Tsunemitsu can make swords with Utsuri and also his style looks like Ichimonji school so his swords must be popular at that time. This sword is one of those, has Utsuri and also looks like Kosaku-Ichimonji or Katayama-Ichimonji, Hamon is Ko-Choji-Midare. We strongly recommend you this work.
