Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.67 cm or 1.05 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.05 cm or 0.80 inches.
Kasane : 0.55 cm or 0.21 inches.
Era : Edo period around Genroku era.
Shape : Suriage, Machiokuri Wakizashi. There remains the signature”Tanba Kami”.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : typlical Tanba Kami Yoshimichi’s Sudare-Ba.
Boshi is round shape with circle Hamon.

Special feature : Mishina School in Kyoto hatched four schools; Kyo Tamba (No) Kami,
Fushimi Tamba (No) Kami, Osaka Tamba (No) Kami and Yamato (No) Kami.
It is said that the characteristic hamon called Sudare-ba originated with Tamba (No) Kami Yoshimichi.
From the signature, this blade is Osaka Tanba kami Yoshimichi.
Characteristics of his blade, there is circle Hamon around Boshi part.
It is difficult to make Suhada-Ba. The technique of Sudare-Ba was secret for generations.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Raund shape iron Tsuba, chain pettern isn engraved with open work. Late Edo period.
Fuchikashira : SHakudo Ishimeji, tree and horse is engraved with gold color.
Signature: Chikuzen Ju Matumura Michikazu. Late Edo period.
Saya : Kawarinuri Saya.
Menuki : horse is engraved with gold color(It may solid gold).
Kozuka : Iron, Ise Lobster is engraved.
Kogatana :
