standpoint. A daimyo; a feudal lord gave Masahide foreign steel called
Namban-tetsu to study. On early works he was fond of brilliant
Toran-ba modeled on Sukehiro that had a tendency to break
so he tried to the revival of Koto blade forged in the Kamakura period aimed
at the sharpness. He went to Edo in 1781and learned Bizen-den under Ishido Korekazu,

From Aoi Art: First stage of Suishinshi Masahide made swords like active Doraanba hamon and suguha with thick nioikuchi hamon.
He fond that these nideki wide hamon is easy to break, So he determined to make kogunome midair hamon which is called Fukko-to.
He learned from ancient komidare hamon which is very strong.
But nowadays, many sword collectors want to obtain active elate stages
of Suishinisi hamon like Doranba, and active thick nioikuchi sough hamon.
At that time, many sword makers tried to make Doranba hamon like Masahide,
Suketka, Tsunatoshi, and so on tried to make Doranba hamon and succeeded. The Koshirae is also nice quality.
